Meet Beth Habig, LMT, BCTMB
Hello - I'm Beth
After a dynamic career in corporate America, where I worked for GlaxoSmithKline in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, I faced a life altering diagnosis of AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia). This experience drew me to the healing profession of massage and bodywork therapy, where I discovered a new purpose and passion.
I attended the school of Body Therapy Institute in Chatham County, North Carolina. After obtaining my board certification in massage therapy, I opened a private practice in Cary, North Carolina from 2005 to 2017, and also worked as an adjunct instructor in Applied Anatomy and Physiology at Johnston Community College. I honed my skills and expanded my knowledge in the art of healing during this time.
I moved to Colorado in 2018 where for the past 6 years have built a clientele in northern Colorado by working with an incredible co-op of advanced massage and bodywork therapists at Living Arts Wellness and ultimately moving out to open my own private practice, Bodywork Therapy Wellness in April 2024.
I am a licensed and board-certified massage therapist specializing in pain management as well as TMJD (temporary mandibular joint dysfunction) therapy. I have been an active member of the AMTA (American Massage Therapy Association) since 2005. I specialize in more focused, advanced medical/therapeutic massage, and treat specific pain and dysfunction to assist you to a pain-free life. My style of massage and bodywork therapy is based on a foundational knowledge of anatomy and physiology paired with skill and effective compassionate treatment to promote relief from pain and to help you experience optimal function.

Bodywork Therapy
Wellness
A holistic approach to massage therapy
What is Bodywork Therapy?
Bodywork therapy, also known as massage therapy, is a holistic approach to wellness that encompasses a variety of techniques and modalities.
The primary goal of Bodywork Therapy Wellness is to improve physical and mental health by addressing the body as a whole using this variety of techniques.

Integrative Massage Therapy
Integrative massage therapy's main benefits are the ability to address a wide range of physical, mental, and emotional issues. By using a variety of techniques, such as myofascial release, neuromuscular, assisted stretching, gua sha, cupping, and heat, I can address specific muscle tension, improve flexibility, and alleviate stress and promote overall well-being.

Advanced TMJD Massage Therapy

Your temporomandibular joint is the hinge that connects your upper and lower jaw. The TMJ can be affected by stress, arthritis, physical trauma, teeth grinding, or other somatic issues. When the joint becomes affected, it may not function properly, which can cause pain and other symptoms. This is called TMJD (Temporomandibular Joint Disorder/ Disfunction). Symptoms are frequent headaches/migraines, clicking/locking of the jaw, pain in facial muscles, around the jaw, neck, and shoulders, and ringing in the ear (tinnitus).

I recommend that your initial TMJ massage session lasts for one hour. This will provide enough time for assessment as I work on you.
